Sukhothai is the name of the first capital of Thai kingdom, established in 13th century. The name itself is the combination of two Thai words meaning "the dawn of happiness". Nowadays the town itself attracts lots of local and foreign visitors because of the historical park full of ruins of ancient temples and royal palaces.

Chiang Mai is the second largest city of Thailand also known as the capital of northen Thailand. The town managed to retain the relaxed, temple-sprinkled (over 300 Buddhist temples!), cultural atmosphere. Chiang Mai is also a starting point to explore the many hill tribe villages in the surrounding mountainous area.

The sacred city of Ayutthaya is a necessary stop for any culture traveler.The city served as the second capital of Thai kingdom after Sukhothai for more than 400 years. The many ruins scattered throughout the city testify the majestic kingdom of Siam.
